The high school has 3 Automatic Electronic Defibrillators (AEDs) on the grounds. One AED is in a case, and stored in the equipment side of the concession stand outside during the non-winter months, one is on the wall by the showcase in the HS lobby, and the other AED is on the wall outside of the main office door in the hall. In the Elementary, the AED is located in the main lobby next to the gym door by the main entrance. The AED is a device that automatically reads the heart rhythm of a person, and it then tells the person applying the device what to do. The AED does not give electrical shocks automatically, it only analyzes the rhythm and instructs the user what to do. Anyone using the AED should have received training in the use of this equipment, as using it incorrectly can potentially harm the user.
