    Driving Directions to Mountain View High School

    Listed alphabetically below are the directions to neighboring schools.

    Abington Heights

    Basketball, Softball, Baseball. Wrestling -Take 81 to exit 194, follow exit to Clarks Summit ramp to light (Rt. 6 & 11) North. Counting traffic lights you are to go 6 lights turn left on Winola Road-go 1/2 Mile up on hill for Noble Rd. take right-school on top of hill on left.

    Volleyball, JH Basketball, Soccer - S. Campus-Same directions as HS but at 5th traffic light make left turn on W. Grove St. go 1/2 mile over bridge, school on left. 7 & 8 BB, Cross Country

    Middle School-Same directions as HS but do not turn onto Noble Rd. Go past to state hospital, pass to y in road, stay left (Newton-Ransom Blvd.) school is on left, go to end of school, make left.

    Jr. High Soccer -At State Hospital Rec field before middle school.

    Golf- Stonehedge -From Clarks Summit PA on Rt. 6 & 11 north approx. 10 miles thru Factoryville on 6 & 11, past Blue Bird 11 Diner approx. 1/2 mile to right turn for Rt. 6 west towards Tunkhannock. Course is on left appr. 5 miles from turn.

    Bishop Hoban

    Take Route 29 South to 309 South until it becomes the Cross Valley Expressway -Take exit 2 off the Cross Valley Expressway -At the traffic light at the end of the ramp, bear right onto Wilkes-Barre Blvd. -Proceed South on W-Barre Blvd -Six (6) traffic lights. Make a right at the 6th (East Northampton St.) -McDonalds on the right. -At the next traffic light take a left onto Pennsylvania Blvd. -Proceed South past the school turning right into the parking lot

    Carbondale Area

     Football, Basketball, & Track (season away):Carbondale High School -Take 106 South into Carbondale -come to a "Y" intersection and stay right. -go through first stop sign, -at the next stop sign make a right -go past Burger King, car dealership, all on the right. -Carbondale High School will be next on right.

    Baseball: Russell Park in Carbondale -continue on route 106 into Carbondale -come to a "Y" intersection and stay left. -come to the second traffic light, take right. -continue on this street past Sacred Heart High School. -come to a light, go straight up the hill. -road will end at Russell Park. -Cemetery is right next to it.

    Softball: Westside Park -Take 106 South into Carbondale -continue on route 106 into Carbondale ( about 13 miles) -go past Little Nikki's Restaurant on right hand side) -take a right onto Hospital Road just after Little Nikki's -Go straight for a few blocks. You will run directly into the field

    College Misericordia

    From I-81.  Take Exit 170B Wilkes Barre.  Exit ramp merges with 309 North.  Stay on 309N for 9 miles into Dallas.  In Dallas, continue on 309N.  Where 309N veers to the right (just past Dallas shopping center), continue straight on Route 415 for 1/4 mile to the second light (stay in right lane).  At this light, bear right onto Lake Street (beyond Sunoco gas station).  Follow Lake Street for 1/2 mile past Center Hill Road.  The university entrance is on your right

    Crestwood Crestwood High School 

    Take 81 South to Exit 165 (old exit 45) (Blackmon St. & Mountain Top) - At light at bottom of ramp, take left turn onto 309 South - Go approx. 10 miles to Mountain Top - In Mountain Top, go 3 traffic lights and there will be a McDonald's - School is after McDonalds on right

    Dallas High School 

    Take 29 South through Tunkhannock. - Take 309 South. - Continue on 309 South till you reach a traffic light. Take a left turn. - School is at the top of hill Delaware Valley -Take 81 South to Route 380 East to 84 East -Take the Matamoras Exit off of 84 East -At light take right, school will be on right approximately 1/2 mile

    Dunmore

    Football, Soccer, Cross Country, Tennis, Basketball, Track & Softball: Dunmore High School - Take 81 South to Dunmore / Throop Exit 188 (old exit 55) - Stay right off of the exit. Go straight at the traffic light - At the next light take a right. Go for a few blocks to the high school - Field will be behind the high school

    Elk Lake

    From Mountain View High School take Rte 106 West into Kingsley, Go straight across Rt 11, past Kingsley post office and Masters Concrete. At "Y" bear left and stay on hard road into Brooklyn to Stop Sign. Cross Rt 167 and continue on this road to blinking light in Dimock (Rt 29) continue straight through light to Elk Lake Corners. (First Stop Sign) Make left and go to left turn for Elk Lake High School.

    Emmaus High School

    Take NE Extension 476S to Lehigh Valley Exit to 22E to 309S which will merge with 78E.  Take Exit #55 Cedar Crest Blvd/PA 29S.  At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Cedar Crest Blvd/PA 29S.  Proceed for approximately 2 miles.  Emmaus Football Stadium will be on your left.  Turn left immediately before stadium onto Pine Street.  If you miss the turn, continue to the traffic light and turn left onto North Street.  Memorial Field is located immediately behind the football stadium and is accessible  from both streets.


    Forest City

    Take 106 toward Carbondale. -Take a left at the blinking light after the Mt.View Inn Restaurant -Continue on this road to another blinking light. You are in Dundaff. -Take a right at the blinking light. -Take a left on Route 247 North directly into Forest City. -You will go down a hill. Cemetary on right. Kennedy Playground on left. -Take a right on the third street after the playground. (Susquehanna St.) -Continue on this street until the school.

    Golf - Memorial Links - Take 92 to Berman's Collision, take right, follow to 171.  Go staright through intersection at Herrick Center.  Take left on 371/670.  Follow 371/670 for 3-4 miles.  Bear right on 670 and go about one mile.  You will come to a stop sign, take a right.  Go about 1/4 mile and take a right on Memorial Links road. 

    GAR (Wilkes Barre-Township) 

    Take 81 South to Exit 165 (old exit 45A) (Blackman St.) - At the end of the ramp turn right onto 309 - Go past the 1st traffic light about 500 yards - On your left you will see a big statue of a cow, bear right onto Casey Avenue - School will be about 100 yards 

    Holy Cross

    Polonia Park in Dickson City (Soccer)
    -81 SOUTH TO EXIT 190 Take Right at the end of the ramp. FOLLOW MAIN AVENUE TO BOULVERD AVENUE, TAKE RIGHT AT LIGHT (Pennstar Bank on right hand side)
    GO THREE BLOCKS AND LOOK FOR SIGN FOR POLONIA PARK ON THE LEFT
    TAKE LEFT INTO PARK

    Lackawanna Trail

    Take route 11 south until you see signs for the school. -Take the right -The school will be located on the right hand side after coming up a large hill.

    Lake Lehman

    Take 29 South through Tunkhannock. -Continue on 29 to Dallas. -At the bottom of a hill in Dallas, you come to a traffic light. Take right onto 118. Stay on 118. -You will come to a Y in the road, stay right on 118. Go to the next Y in the road. (Cooks General Store) -Bear left at that Y and travel about 1 -2 miles. School is on left.

    Lakeland

    Lakeland High School: Take 81 South to Exit 202 (old exit 62) (Fleetville / Tompkinsville) -Take left on 107 toward Tompkinsville. -Travel approximately 2-3 miles until you meet Route 247. -Take a right at the four corners and continue on this road for 1 mile. -School will be on your right.

    Fr. Basketball, V Softball, & JV Baseball: Mayfield Elementary School -Take 81 South to Exit 202 (old exit 62) (Fleetville / Tompkinsville) -Take left on 107 toward Tompkinsville. -Continue on 107 -Until you come to a traffic light. (Windsor Inn is on your right) -Take a left at light. -Stay straight until stop sign and blinker light. Turn right, cross bridge. -Take 2nd left after bridge (Lackawanna Ave.) -Travel approximately 5 blocks -Take left onto Linden Street.

    Mid Valley

    Go 81 South - Take the Throop Exit 188 (old exit 55). - At the light take a left. - Continue on this road through 3/4 lights. The road will split - At the split in the road keep right. - Bear right at the next intersection. - Follow this road to a Y in the road. At the Y bear left. School is on this street.

    MMI Prep

    Softball Field - Take I-81 South to Exit 155, Dorrance.  Turn left at end of exit ramp.  Go 3/10 miles to stop sign at "T" intersection. Turn right and go up hill 8/10 miles to stop sign at intersection with Route 309. Turn right and follow Route 309 South for 4 . 4 miles to traffic light at bottom of hill.  (Uni-Mart on right.  Road is not marked, but it is the "Freeland-Drums Road").  Turn left at light and go up hill for 4 miles to traffic light at Centre Street.  Turn right onto Centre Street and go 1. 2 miles.  Just as you pass the Episcopal Church on the right, you will see a Pepsi sign on the left for "Drifton Softball Complex".  Turn right here onto Sophia Coxe drive.  Continue straight until you come to the parkign lot, MMI plays on field #4.

    Montrose

    Travel 706 West for approximately 7 miles. -Take a right hand turn at a concrete pipe plant. -The school will be 1 mile from this turn. Nanticoke -Take 81 South to Exit 164 (old exit 44) (Nanticoke) -Take exit 3 off of Route 29 -At stop sign go left. -Go to 1st traffic light (drug store on corner) -Make left (new school on left)

    Notre Dame East Stroudsburg

    Travel Rt. 81 S to Rt. 80 E exiting at #308 East Stroudsburg. Make a right turn off the exit onto Prospect Street. At traffic light make a right turn onto E. Broad Street traveling past Pocono Medical Center and the ESU ball fields. At the tennis courts, make a left onto Smith Street. Continue on Smith Street. Make a right onto the road before the residence with the white picket fence directly across from the East Stroudsburg Presbyterian Church. . Straight ahead is our parking lot.

    North Pocono

    High School: Take 81 South to 380, take old exit 4 (Moscow). -At the end of the ramp turn left. -Go past the North Pocono Stadium Complex and go to the end of 690. Turn right on 435 and proceed to the intersection of 502 (Stop light). Turn left onto Bochicchio Blvd and follow the road to the high school.

    Or, take 81 to 380 South toward Mt. Pocono. Take exit 20 Daleville 307. At the end of the exit, turn left onto 307 South. Go 1.1 miles to traffic light and turn left onto 502 East. In less than a mile, 502 will end at a traffic light (Rt 435). Go straight past the Rite Aid and continue to the new school.

    Robert Ashton Complex (Junior High Baseball) - Take I-81 South to I-84 East toward I-380 S/Mt. Pocono/Milford.  Take Right fork onto I-380 South toward Mt. Pocono.  Take Exit #22/Moscow onto PA-690.  Turn Right onto PA-307.  Go about 2 miles and turn left onto O'Hara Rd.  Continue about 1/2 mile and you will arrive at the complex. 

    Old Forge

    Take 81 South to the PA Turnpike Exit 194 (old exit 58) Clark Summit -Take the turnpike to the Keyser Ave Exit. Take left at light towards Old Forge -Take A left onto Oak Street. -TAke a right onto Marion Street. School is on right hand side (recommended because of traffic)

    Pagnotti Park - Take I-81 South to Moosic Exit.  Turn left on Main St.  Drive through town and make a right at the traffic light after Revello's Pizza onto Milwaukee Ave.  You will come to a slight "Y" in the road, stay left at the "Y" onto Connell Street.  Stay straight on Connell Street and go through a stop sign.  The street will eventually turn to dirt.  Contunie about 100 feet after the dirt begins and you will see a sign that says "Softball Complex", park in that lot. 

    Riverside

    Take 81 South to the PA Turnpike Exit 194 (old exit 58) Clark Summit -Take the turnpike to the Keyser Ave Exit. Take right at light. -At the next light take a right. -Continue on this street for approximately 1mile (road is curvy) -Once you get into town. Look for Storrs St. (approx. 4th block into the town) -School will be on this street.

    Sayre Area

    (High School) Follow Route 6 West through Towanda.  Turn right onto the US-220 Ramp.  Merge onto 220 and continue for about 10 miles.  Take slight right at PA-199.  Turn left at S. Main St (PA-199) and continue to follow 199.  Turn right at W. Lockhart St.  School is on your right. 

    (Snyder Elem. School) Follow Route 6 West through Towanda.  Turn right onto the US-220 Ramp.  Take 220 North for about 12 miles.  Get off the Athens business District Exit.  Turn Right at W. Pine St.  Turn left onto Pennsylvania Ave.  Go about 1.5 miles and turn right onto Stevenson St.  Take left at Warren St.  School Will be on your left. 

    Scranton

    Take 81 South to the Central Expressway Exit 185. (Old exit 53) -Stay on the expressway and merge into the left hand lane -Take the Providence Road Exit. -Keep left and the school will be on your left Scranton Prep -Take 81 South to Scranton Expressway Exit 191B (old exit 57B). -Take express way to Mulberry Street. Go to the fourth traffic light.(Wyoming Ave) -Take a left hand turn. You will go approximately 6 to 7 blocks -The school will be on your right (corner of Ash Street) and Wyoming Avenue -Good Luck finding parking.

    St. Gregory's Academy

    Take 81 South to I380S/I84E.  Take exit 2 on the left and merge onto 435S toward Elmhurst.  Go about 3.5 miles and turn left toward Griffin Road/Route 713.  Take second right onto Griffin road.

    Valley View

    Take 81 South to the Waverly Exit 197 (old exit 59). -Turn left onto 632 East and travel for 4 miles -At the Stop Sign pick up 247 South and proceed ahead for approx. 1 mile. -Just before the traffic light. Turn left onto 6 East and get in right lane. -Turn right at Monroe Muffler and Salvation Army -Stay on this road for 1/2 mile until you come to a T. Turn left at the T. -Stay straight on this street fro approx. 1 mile. -At blinker light take right, school will be on this road. School sits back about 1/2 of a mile

    Wallenpaupack

    Take 81 South to 84 East - Take the Mt. Cobb Exit on 84 East - Get on Route 348 East to Hamlin - At the four corners in Hamlin Go straight, this is 590 - Continue on 590 until the intersection of route 6. - At this intersection take a right, high school is on your right - Middle school is on your left.(the school sits back in)

    Western Wayne

    Take 81 South to exit 202 (old exit 62) (Tompkinsville/ Fleetville) -Take a left after the exit toward Tompkinville 107 -Take 107 to the Windsor Inn. At this light go straight. -Pick up Route 6 East. Stay on Route 6 for approximately 14 miles. -At light in Waymart (gas stations to the left) take right. -Travel approximately 6-7 miles on this road. -School will be on your left. The driveway is hidden so be careful.

    Windsor High School (Windsor, NY)

    Take Route 11 North to I-81 North.  While on I-81 you will cross into New York.  Merge onto I-86 East/NY-17 via Exit 2E toward New York.  Go about 9 miles on I-86 East/NY-17 and take the RT-79 Exit (Exit 79) toward Windsor.  Turn right onto Main St/NY-79.  Go about .3 miles and you will be at school. 

    Whitehall High School

    Take Pennsylvania Turnpike South to Allentown Exit.  Take Rt. 22 East to the 15th Street exit.  Left off ramp (15th St.) 15th St. becomes Mauch Chunk Road at 3rd light.  Continue North for one more traffic light (Schadt Avenue).  Make right at Schadt Ave.  Go straight and make first left onto Campus Drive.  Continue Straight and make left onto stadium drive. 

    Wyoming Area

    Take 29 South to 92 South to West Pittston - At the Y in West Pittston stay right - Go to traffic light and turn left onto Erie Street - Go 1 blocks (Church on opposite right hand corner) turn right - You should be Memorial Street - School is on this street about 2 blocks
